The LuxCraft Glider Footrest is the engineered footrest accessory designed specifically to pair with LuxCraft Glider Chairs. Unlike static ottomans or stationary footrests that sit still while the chair next to them moves, the Glider Footrest has its own gliding base mechanism that moves in coordination with the paired chair. As the glider chair gliders back and forth, the Glider Footrest gliders at the same rate in the same direction, keeping the occupants legs and torso moving as a single unified body rather than as disconnected pieces.

The synchronized motion is the engineering differentiator. Standard outdoor ottomans paired with glider chairs produce an awkward motion mismatch — the upper body moves while the feet stay planted on a static ottoman surface, creating a visual and physical disconnect that defeats the purpose of a gliding chair. The Glider Footrest eliminates this mismatch by replicating the chair's four-bar linkage mechanism at the footrest level, so feet and torso travel together throughout each glide cycle.
