A Recycled Plastic Swivel Bar Stool for the Outdoor Bar

The Berlin Gardens Murphy Swivel Bar Chair is a poly swivel patio bar stool that pairs a 360-degree swivel base with a 28.25-inch bar-height seat, a supportive back, and a footrest. It stands 46 inches tall for a raised bar and keeps the two-tone build, with seat color and frame finish chosen separately.

Starting at $1,016, it is the top of the Murphy poly seating line: the recycled-poly seat carries its color throughout, and the powder-coated aluminum base swivels so you can turn from the bar to the yard without dragging the stool across the deck.

Swivel at the Outdoor Bar

This stool turns a full circle at bar height, so you can face the grill, the counter, or the conversation without shuffling. A wide footrest and open back make it a place to settle for the evening, and the open poly seat dries fast so a passing shower does not end the night.

Bar-Height Swivel Build

A powder-coated marine-grade aluminum base carries the 360-degree swivel and the welded footrest, and the seat is UV-stabilized recycled HDPE colored all the way through. The swivel is sealed against weather, so salt, rain, and chlorine leave both the motion and the finish untouched with just an occasional rinse.

Build the Bar Suite

Choose from 23 seat colors, six of them Natural woodgrains, and 11 aluminum frame finishes. Match the seat to a Murphy bar table top and the base to its legs so the swivel stools and table read as one outdoor bar, or contrast the seat for a bolder counter.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • Yes. The Berlin Gardens Murphy Swivel Bar Chair swivels a full 360 degrees on a powder-coated aluminum base, so you can turn from the bar to face guests or the yard without lifting or scooting the stool. The swivel is sealed against weather to keep turning smoothly season after season.

  • The Murphy Swivel Bar Chair has a 28.25-inch bar-height seat, built for bars and tables around 40 to 42 inches tall, including the Murphy bar tables. It is full bar height, not counter height, so it suits a raised outdoor bar rather than a 36-inch counter.

  • The Murphy poly swivel bar stool uses a solid recycled-poly seat — firm, colored throughout, and hose-clean — while a sling swivel stool uses woven fabric that flexes and needs fabric care. Both swivel on aluminum; the poly version skips cushions and dries almost immediately after rain.

  • Yes. The Murphy Swivel Bar Chair swivels on a sealed, powder-coated marine-grade aluminum base that resists rust and corrosion near pools and the coast. The welded footrest takes daily step-up without loosening, and a periodic hose-down is all the maintenance the base and poly seat need.

  • The Murphy Swivel Bar Chair is made in the USA by Berlin Gardens in Berlin, Ohio, from recycled poly and powder-coated aluminum, with a 20-year residential and 5-year commercial warranty. That reflects a swiveling bar stool built to stay outdoors for decades rather than a season or two.
