    Great questions — happy to clear both up.

    **Ice bin + umbrella at the same time:** Yes. The umbrella pole passes through a 2" channel in the center of the table, and the ice bin surrounds it, so you can keep drinks chilled with the umbrella in place. If you add the Signature Side Table Lid with Umbrella Hole, the pole runs up through the lid as well, giving you a flat, usable tabletop over the bin. One note: the bin is designed to be self-draining so melt water exits on its own. If you want ice to actually sit and hold in the bin, Ledge provides a rubber stopper for the drain — just let us know and we'll get one sent out with your order.

    **The threaded plug system:** It's for filling, not draining. There are threaded plugs in the bottom of the table. You remove them, set the table in the pool and let it fill with water, then reinstall the plugs and place it on your ledge. That water is what weights the table down — it's 26 lbs empty and about 120 lbs filled — so it stays put instead of floating or drifting. The same plugs let you drain it later if you want to move or store the table, but the main purpose is ballast. No drilling or assembly required.
